Havalock Alma Jones, 71, of Seattle, passed peacefully in her sleep of natural causes after a long illness on October 27, 2023.<\/p>\n

Havalock was born on May 9, 1952, in Renton, WA. She was raised in Kennydale. Havalock attended Renton High School and Franklin High School. She graduated from Seattle University with a degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Music.<\/p>\n

Havalock was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Nelsen Jones Jr. and Mary Jane Jones (Oatis), sister Zella Margo Safadago-Jones (Oatis), brother Gerald Nelson Jones. She is survived by her son Shaka Forest, her cousins Vannetta Cash (Upshaw), Nick Upshaw, and Eugene Cash.<\/p>\n

Havalock had a great love of music and going to gatherings to be with friends and family. She enjoyed classical music, Bruce Springsteen, and James Brown. She had been a devoted member of the Center for Spiritual Living in Seattle for many years.<\/p>\n

She was a mother, daughter, sister, and friend.<\/p>\n

A celebration of Havalock’s life will be held at the Center for Spiritual Living, 6318 Linden Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103 on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
