Joyce Elaine March was born in Garden City, SD on December 15th, 1931. She was married to Duane in 1951. They then moved to Renton, WA in 1958 where she worked for the Renton School District for 25 years as the head cook at Nelson Middle School. Joyce belonged to the Renton VFW, Renton Eagles, and Kent Post 15 Legion Auxiliary. She had three children, Lynette, Sandra and Randall. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Jaime, Tyler, Tracy and Troy. Who then blessed her with five great grandchildren, Nolan, Kasen, Emmett, Hazel, and Addison. She was preceded by her parents, William and Lila Peterson and 5 siblings.
