Ellen Klepach Sandbo

Ellen passed away peacefully on April 29th surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years old. Ellen was born in Roslyn, WA to Joseph and Mary Klepach. The family moved to Renton, WA in the early thirties where she has been a lifelong resident.Ellen graduated from Renton High School in 1935. She attended St. Joseph School of Nursing in Tacoma where she received her R.N. During WWII Ellen was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps. After her discharge, Ellen worked for doctors, Keigwin, Laviolette and Vukov. She was a also a med-nurse at the Highland Convalescent Center.Ellen is survived by her son, Stephen (Anne); brother, James Klepach, Pipe Creek, TX; sister, Fran Klepach, Renton; six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Klepach and sister Margaret Manney.In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Swedish Hospice or the Renton Historical Society.A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Renton on Monday, May 4th at 11:00 a.m. Faull-Stokes Funeral Home in Renton.223229
