Fans traveling north on Interstate 405 through Bellevue to get to Sunday's Seahawks game should expect some delays as paving continues of the freeway.

Crews with the state Department of Transportation will close a lane on northbound I-405 in Bellevue between 112th Avenue Southeast and Coal Creek Parkway from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22. During the night and early morning hours, crews will also close an additional lane.

If possible, drivers should use I-5 and avoid the area; otherwise, there may be several miles of backups. Drivers who need to use northbound I-405 should slow down, use caution and pay close attention to detour signage while driving in this active construction zone, according to the transportation department.
