Machete attack

Renton police officers responded on June 14 at approximately 8:10 a.m. to a report of a stabbing with a machete in the 3000 block of Southeast Royal Hills Drive. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, according to the department. The victim, a man, suffered injuries to his face and head area. Medical personnel treated the man at the scene and transported him to the hospital. Officers additionally located the suspect at the scene and arrested them without incident, booking them into jail. Investigation into the incident continues, according to the department.

Domestic violence report

Renton police officers conducted a report over the phone on June 11 at approximately 10:15 a.m. after receiving a report for a domestic violence incident. The victim, a woman, reported that a known suspect assaulted her at a residence where she was staying in the 2200 block of Benson Road South. According to the department, the woman suffered minor injuries in the incident. Investigation into the incident continues.

Physical altercation

Renton police officers responded on June 13 at approximately 7:30 a.m. to an assault report in the 1900 block of Raymond Avenue Southwest. According to the department, a man reported that he engaged in a physical altercation with an individual following a verbal altercation over a civil issue. The man suffered minor injuries and the individual he fought with left the scene when officers arrived. Investigation into the incident continues.

Spat on

Renton police officers responded on June 11 just after 8:30 a.m. to the 500 block of Rainier Avenue South for reports of an assault. According to the department, a woman reported that a man intentionally spat on her while she was outside her business. Officers responded and located the suspect in the area. After taking the suspect into custody, he was positively identified by the woman and booked into jail.

Road rage

Renton police officers responded on June 13 at around 12:25 p.m. to a road rage call in the 700 block of Logan Avenue North. According to the department, a man reported that an occupant of a Dodge van had aimed a firearm at him following a verbal altercation. The suspect vehicle fled the scene before officers were able to locate it. According to the department, no shots were fired, and there were no reports of injuries resulting from the incident.
