SIX COURSES: The dessert chef, Nicolas Ganea

I was born in Brisbane, Australia. Since I was 10 years old, I have been interested in becoming a chef. I came to the United States in 2002 in search for culinary education opportunities. That led me to the Puget Sound Skills Center Culinary Arts High School program. When I graduated from that program, I wanted to continue my education and my high school culinary instructor recommended that I attend Renton Technical Colleges Culinary Arts Program. I enrolled as a student at RTC in 2007. My goal is to become a master chef with the American Culinary Federation. I would also like to own my own restaurant. In the short term, I would like to go to France to further my culinary experience.

(At the time of the spring banquet, Ganea was finishing his third quarter and working on completing the competencies for pastry.)
